Kabul Express

Kabul Express (Hindi: काबुल ए़प्रेस, Urdu: کاب ای़پریس) is a Bollywood movie which was suppose to be released on 20 October, 2006; however, Yash Raj Films decided to move the release date of the film from October to sometime in December but they still have not decided upon a date to release the film. The film stars John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pakistani actor Salman Shahid, Afghani actor Humghum and American actress Linda Arsenio. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films and is directed by documentary film maker Kabir Khan.
The film has faced some controversy in that John Abraham contracted a viral infection while in Kabul and was rushed back to India amidst shooting. It seemed unlikely that he would return for the remainder of the schedule but it seems he is intent on completing this film. Bipasha Basu, John's girl friend, insisted on completing the film in Bhuj. In the end, they ended up shooting the remainder of the film in Bhuj. He is now alright and is shooting for the film. There was also a kidnapping of another Indian driver who was, in turn, killed. Security had to be heightened and the actors are to return for another stretch of shootings presently. Besides John getting sick, the cast and crew of the movie kept gettting threats from Taliban which created a tense atmosphere to shoot there.
